Before crossing over the mountains to the east we will visit one of the most beautiful volcanoes in the country Antisana. Here we will see a beautiful Ecuadorian hummingbird Hillstar, along with other stars like Black-face Ibis, Silvery Greve, Many-striped Canastero and others.
We begin our journey to the east but not before stopping at Papallacta pass to observe the rare Rufous-bellied Seedsnipe in addition to hummingbirds, tanagers and with a little luck we may see some condors.
